1. Good bye NAPs good bye Blobs - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Wolfgang Jager on 07/07/2010 08:59:47 410 Romans to Germans, "stop blobbing us!" 1453 Byzantines to Turks, "they only won because they blobbed!" 1814 Napoleon from Elba, "we shall crush the blobbers!" 1943 Germans at Kursk, "damn th...

2. Why Fight Over The Planets? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
A better question might be "how are the mechanics going to have to change so that there is a point to fighting over planets"? As it stands right now, if you have SOV in the system then the question is moot. No one outside the holding alliance can...

3. How Curzon Dax did what he did. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The TL;DR version? Because people are gullible and for the most part easily deceived. Longer version: EVE is totally consequence-less and anonymous...doesn't matter how well you "think" you know someone from forums or in-game interactions you si...

4. Who is going to play DUST 514? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I have to say that I think CCP really missed a few details on this one. Console FPS games, even the best of them, hit the market and if well received make a splash for maybe a year before they are replaced by the next "newest and best" thing. Sur...

5. Planetary mining should NEVER be safe - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Personally I am more worried that PI is such a clickfest of pain and misery to operate that no one sane will do it anyways. Combine that with a fairly risky and tedious shipping process and I see prices for POS fuels setting new records overnight.

7. Skill Points lost while unsubbed - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Actually, I don't see why CCP doesn't just start selling "package" characters with 10,20,30m SP that you can assign. Think about it....you can already start a new account, buy lots of plex, sell plex for ISK and buy a "farmed" character from som...

8. Will anyone actually USE Eve-gate? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

9. /Sign for Dust PC Port - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
/signed in triplicate and notarized I've actually been "burnt out" on EVE for years now, coming back briefly now and again...never staying all that long or that active. However a PC version of Dust would drag me back full time...and I do not own ...

10. Some ideas on how to improve low sec and make it more attractive - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Rather than bury this at the end of one of the four or five threads complaining about it, here are some serious ideas I've had for improving low sec. - Improved mission payouts, missions that require you to actually run a complex or kill an encou...

11. Simply Put: LowSec Sucks - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Seishi Maru Edited by: Seishi Maru on 21/05/2010 02:25:18 A whole lot of basically irrelevant advice As others have said, the problem isn't that no one can live in Low sec; it is that there is simply no reason to....

12. Simply Put: LowSec Sucks - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Aurum Bellator Simply put, there isn't anything in lowsec worth enough to risk the pirates or organize a force to drive them out. Try adding crokite or spodumain in 0.3 systems and see what happens? Amp up mission rewards f...

13. Sov mechanics, are you happy with it? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Speaking as someone who spent far too much time placing, replacing and refueling POSs - yep pos spam sucked...but it's not like Dominion got rid of them...there are still tons and they are still very important to controlling systems. All the "new"...

14. Sov mechanics, are you happy with it? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The "solution" of Dominion was to make SOV based on even bigger targets with more points to kill or repair...encouraging even bigger blobs because of the sheer scale of damage or repping required to achieve anything before everyone involved dies o...

16. Are lvl 4s really getting nerfed - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Not that I even run missions anymore (most boring thing in the whole game tbh); but this is a nerf to anyone who bothered to loot their wrecks. Just burning through the missions was already arguably the best way to make ISK and this will remove an...

17. To all future, and present players - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

18. Split up the Big T - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Signing off this thread, because clearly you just don't get it. The single unified world is a huge part of what makes EVE work for most players. To many of us, "no big battles" = boring; no mass of player traders to drive market scams and economic...

20. Split up the Big T - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Splitting up the server is a horrid idea! But perhaps CCP should have listened a bit more closely to those of us who suggested that "fixing" SOV warfare by simply renaming the big mega-damage structures you had to blow up was a bad idea. If there ...
